Phillip’s experience
has been primarily in the financial markets.
Prior to joining The Hudson Institute in
2000, Phillip’s working history includes
employment with Stockbroking and Trustee
firms, both in back-office and front-office
dealings roles. His experience also includes
exposure to debt lending through employment
as a finance broker.
His extensive educational qualifications
have been gained through University and Post
Graduate studies. His overall desire is to
offer members a thoroughly professional and
competent financial advisory service to assist
them to attain their financial goals through
effective investment management and wealth
creation strategies.

Michal moved to Brisbane from the nation's
capital in 1999 and has subsequently had six
year's industry experience, including 12 months
with the Hudson Institute.Moving from a small financial planning firm
to the Hudson family was quite a transition
for Michal. Since joining Hudson Michal's knowledge
and experience has accelerated with lightning
speed and she continues to be amazed by the
enthusiasm of her members. Michal gets great
satisfaction from identifying opportunities
in members' portfolios and working with them
to achieve rewarding outcomes - and since adding
her first investment property to her investment
portfolio this year, she can relate to many
members and their love affair with property! Her qualifications include a Diploma of Business
(Accounting), a Diploma of Financial Planning
and she is currently studying for her Graduate
Diploma of Financial Planning through the Securities
Institute of Australia. |
Ivan Fletcher

- Completed CPA studies through the CPA accounting profession.
- Completed Financial Planning studies through the Deakin University.
Prior to his time at Hudson, Ivan spent his entire working career in the field of finance. Starting out in corporate Treasuries (managing company finances), his time since has included 3 years with a prominent Australian Trustee Company and 4 years in one of the BIG 4 banks in charge of Investment Compliance of some of Australians largest Superannuation funds (including some of the Industry funds).
Ivan made a conscious decision to switch from dealing with Business Financial Management to Personal Financial Management. Ivan's last position before joining Hudson was as a Financial Adviser to self-employed professionals.Through his education and experiences with dealing with Banks, Super Funds, Fund Managers and Accountants, and his many clients (past and present), Ivan has a very broad and diverse range of knowledge to draw from. This enables Ivan to keep an open mind when approaching financial decisions and to explore all possible scenarios when advising on your best course of action. |

Stephen has worked in the financial services industry since 1993. Prior to joining the Hudson Institute, Stephen worked as a Financial Planner with a specialty in Retirement Planning.
Stephen has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University and holds the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification from the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). With these qualifications and experience, Stephen is well qualified to help clients to achieve their financial goals.

Louise Falsone

Louise has over 12 years financial services industry experience. She has worked in superannuation, insurance, global custodian, funds management and banking organisations. For the last 6 years Louise has worked within the financial planning profession, which she thoroughly enjoys and is passionate about. She has focused on advising her clients on all aspects of financial planning, with a particular emphasis on wealth creation strategies.
Louise’s desire to work as a financial planner was based on her intention to have a direct involvement with clients in order to help them attain their stated financial goals and objectives. Louise is focused on getting to know her members and gaining an understanding of each member’s circumstances, needs, goals and objectives. Her knowledge and experience, combined with her enthusiasm and passion has armed her with the skills and qualities to be put to good use with Hudson members |
Hamish McDouall

Hamish has an extensive background in finance, banking and accounting both within Australia and abroad. Prior to joining Hudson’s Hamish worked as a financial advisor for a financial planning firm with a similar investment philosophy where he found his passion for the financial planning industry.
He originally cut his teeth working in Rural Lending with a major Australian bank, before gaining additional experience in various Financial Controlling roles based overseas. During this time he has also spent two years travelling overseas ‘broadening his horizons’ to many exotic locations within North and South America, Asia, and Europe.
Hamish enjoys working with members, considering their current circumstances and listening to their concerns and objectives before providing tailored advice.
